Cassandra is a warm, authentic and collaborative therapist who tailors her treatment approach to meet the individual needs of her clients. She seeks to provide an open, safe and encouraging space for clients to process and explore their difficulties and works alongside them to develop strategies to improve their psychological wellbeing.
Cassandra has experience working with families, young people, and adults across a range of mental health concerns and has a special interest in eating disorders. She has received training in and utilises a number of evidence-based psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family-Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Qualifications and Memberships
Cassandra is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Master of Clinical Psychology degree at the University of Technology Sydney. Further to her studies she has clinical experience gleaned through her work with children, adolescents, families, and adults across a variety of mental health settings, including private practice, in-patient and out-patient services. She is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society; Associate Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association; Member Australian and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders and is a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician.
